Need I say more?
This Semester in Shively December 20, 2008
So I finally finished doing most of the closing work for Shively (the hall I work in…), checking every room and submitting TMAs for every single little thing. That was fun. Boys are stupid. All RAs should be girls. So anyway, I figured I could use a little pick-me-up. I decided I should share with no one the wonderful times I had this semester with my hall.

SSO was fun. We had some good times. I heard from other returning staff members in other halls that Char (our hall director, with the helmet) has never participated with staff like she did with us, at least in employed memory. She’s been doing this a long time. She was a blast, though. Good times with the Batman-sort-of theme.

Alicia as Poison Ivy
Josh as Kevin Federline (J-Fed)
Mike as the Joker
Ryan as…well.
Char as Happy Friday Guy (a BSU thing…)
Me as the Riddler
Katie as Catwoman

Meals were interesting, to say the least.
We managed to get out of the hall occasionally for a night out.

We had a pirate theme for opening.

So…this is after the Mud Volleyball tournament. We lost by a point in the first round, but we were glad because it was miserably cold and the mud was full of sharp rocks. We had fun though. Good times.

Then we had Shively’s Thirsty Thursday, which was a blast. We played flippy cup with soda, and had an awesome root beer pong tournament. I failed at beer pong, but my team owned the flippy cup table. We also had alcohol-free mixed drinks and lots of sex-ed info and give-aways. Condoms and lube everywhere. It was great. Oh, and on the bottom of some of the cups, there were colored dots to symbolize date rape, drunk driving, and lots of other cheerful mishaps. It was a lot of fun going up to a resident with a blue dot on their cup and saying, “Hey! You got drunk and had unprotected sex! Now you’re pregnant!” with a smile.
We even got Char to play a few rounds of flippy cup.
Hil-freaking-larious.
Oh yes, we dominated. It was intense.
So I suppose, all-in-all, it was a good semester. We had some good times playing flippy cup and painting our faces for mud volleyball.
I’ve survived my first semester as an RA….with 18 credit hours (including 3 studios and a lab).
Now, I’m off for another semester, and I’ve decided to crank up the heat. 18 credit hours again, but with 5 STUDIOS, biznatches! Stick that in your bong and toke on it.
First post….joy. December 19, 2008
Yay. I spent like 2 hours reading Zoe’s blog from Holland, so I decided to make my own. Little did I know it would take an hour just to set up. Stupid system, if you ask me. Anyway, added some photos to my media, but not sure when, if ever, I’ll use any of it. Not even sure if I’ll even write on here ever… Check out my art. Click the link, under Blog Roll.
